As a preparation of the first Roundtable on Sustainable Platinum Group metals, a study was carried out, summarising the headlines of PGM production, application and recycling, including environmental aspects.

Within the scope of the first Roundtable and the associated financial possibilities, not all data could be properly verified yet. There remains a great deal of uncertainty about the precise situation in Russia, although there is a tendency towards more openness and less legal restriction on publishing data.
